It’s the first of December, so we can’t avoid it any longer – Love it or blah it, the Christmas season is now officially upon us.
This brings with it all kinds of challenges. Obviously, a big part of the way I help people is in the area of relationships. Being single or being in a relationship are both valid options for living life and while one is not better than the other, but there’s no doubt Christmas sometimes adds difficult emotional fuel to an already complicated equation.
Having the strength to disregard the candyfloss messages of romanticised togetherness is not easy, the added pressure for things to be ‘perfect’ can really make the whole thing feel like a pressure cooker.
The fact is, things are rarely perfect, relationships (family or romantic) are too messy to be easily tied up with neat seasonally appropriate bows however much we pretend.

All we can do is try and be even kinder to each other than normal in the month ahead. To let go of our own expectations and make things as simple as possible.
We’ve got four weeks before the end of the year, which we’re probably going to race though.
Either way, I’ve got you, we’re in this together guys.
However, you plan to navigate the month ahead, it’ll be fine. This too shall pass and then………. it’ll be January – sigh!

Tarot gives us a different way of approaching life. The wonderful thing is that, simply by understanding the cards and the structure of the deck, we start to see things differently.
But isn’t learning Tarot really hard?
Not if you learn it the right way.
For most people, even thinking about trying to memorise 78 card meanings is enough to make them run for the hills, but fear not. It’s not about memorising cards, it’s about learning stories. Because they’re your stories, it makes sense. The stories Tarot tells are both unique to you and universal to us all. Spend four evenings with me and I’ll give you the keys to understanding Tarot in a way that makes perfect sense. It’s amazing, fascinating, potentially transformational – and fun!
