🌞 So, it’s officially summer 🌞
The weatherman announced last night that the 1st of June is, meteorologically, the first day of summer.
Which we all very much hope is not just official but literal – you know, proper summer, with actual sunshine and everything! 😁
It’s also the start of the Gemini season, which has a strong connection to The Lovers and The Magician Tarot cards.
The planet Mercury is the ruling planet of Gemini.
The Magician card links directly in to that mercurial, changeable nature of the sign of Gemini.
Energetically, Mercury drives communication, learning and the use of intelligence.
These are the tools The Magician uses to manifest ideas into reality, planning and envisioning what is to come,
The Lovers Tarot card is at its heart, a card of choices, not the fluffy bunny romantic proposition it is sometimes portrayed as.
The Lovers card is there to guide the changeable nature of Gemini into a stable choice.
It tells us that we must choose wisely and commit to that choice with both love and intelligence.
Having learned from previous experiences what will and won’t make us properly happy.
That choice, once made, will manifest in our lives on the path ahead.
So what will you choose to commit to in this coming month?
The energy of Gemini gives us room to change direction if we need to, but ultimately we do need to choose.
