So much is happening at the moment, I can hardly keep up. I’m so excited about being on the road again this year, exploring with Geoff and Flynn in ‘Big Gus the Tarot Bus’.
We’re sad to be saying goodbye to Renee the van, but it’s time to move on, although how we’ll get on with parking Big Gus is yet to be seen.
A quick heads up – if you’d like to come and see me in person before we go, I only have three weekends left between now and the 18th of February, so do make sure to jump in and book in advance.
February 2024 – Energy Update
This month’s energy reading reflects the surge in energy we often feel as January ebbs away and as a result, we are asked to show up this month as authoritative and confident.
This feels perfect as the natural world begins to stir
after its winter rest.
The sap is rising in the trees and in us also.
So let’s lean in and get busy.
We’ll laugh about this one day 😬

I’m a girl that quite likes a bit of chaos.
That’s a strange thing to say, I know, but I find some of the most interesting things happen when life takes the wheel, and we allow the unexpected to happen.
Usually!
This last weekend might just have cured me of that though.
I was invited to appear at a theatre in Whitehaven, Cumbria last Friday night and Geoff and I (and Flynn) decided to take Big Gus – the bus on a test run.
We got a bit more than we bargained for though.

We planned to leave Twickenham about 10.30am. We had planned for a 6/7 hour drive and wanted to arrive in plenty of time.
We had just bought a new sat. nav. specially for large vans to keep us off tiny roads, so we would be fully prepared in time for our big trip in a few weeks.
Here’s what happened:
10.30am – We found out that the sat nav had been left on from the night before (we were testing it), and it doesn’t power down automatically.
10.31am – Gus the Bus’s battery was stone dead.
10.40am – We get the car into position and the jump leads ready only to discover there is no battery in the engine compartment.
10.50am – After searching the bus manual we discover the battery is actually located in a under panel in the footwell on the passenger side – we remove carpet and flooring.
11am – Geoff has to fetch a drill to drill out the rusted screws to the battery compartment.
11.15am We drill out the screws and discover – it’s the wrong compartment.
11.25am – we find the ‘other’ compartment further along under the floor and locate the battery.
phew
11.35am – We block the entire road as we must now put the car alongside the bus to connect the terminals to the battery through the bus door.
11.40am (With three cars now in line waiting) Geoff connects the jump leads to the battery terminals.
(Geoff was unaware at this point that the colour system on the bus’s battery was the opposite way round to normal cars.)
11.40am BIG SCARY FLASH
11.50am – Miraculously, both Geoff and the bus seem unscathed, so we count ourselves lucky and begin our journey (although running an hour and a half later than planned).
phew
Other than two 17-minute delays due to lane closures, our journey seems quite blissfully uneventful as we head off down the M6 towards ‘The Lakes’.
6.15pm – It’s getting dark and we begin the route across the highest point of the Pennines across Shap Fell.
6.20pm – It begins to rain
6.21pm We realise our windscreen wipers are NOT WORKING.
It is impossible to pull over because the inside lane is coned off for miles.
We slow to a crawl, now with hazards flashing, trying to reach a safe place to stop. Geoff is not a happy man!
6.40pm We get pulled over by the police, who rather dramatically pull in front of us to block our route.
6.45pm Geoff is taken into the police car, and I’m left in the bus. helpless and worried, convinced our journey is over.
(Geoff is DEFINITELY not a happy man)
7pm – The Police turn out to be lovely (and very admiring of the bus).
They have a nice cheerful chat with us both about our predicament, then deposit Geoff back onto the bus and (to my amazement) tell us to drive on in the coned off lane into the rain.
They also, to my amazement, tell us to go a bit faster as it will help the rain run off the windscreen faster.
BTW we didn’t because it doesn’t!
8.40pm We arrive exhausted at the theater.
The evening ended up as a success. Everyone was happy and none the wiser about our trip from hell.
We’re fine now, Gus the Bus? Not so much, but hopefully, we can get him repaired in good time for our next adventure.
It was during all this drama that I noticed the full moon. Very beautiful it was too, hanging there innocently in the sky.
I was amused to read this little snippet when I looked it up.
Full Moon in Virgo (Feb 24) ‘Attention to detail and a desire to bring order to chaos becomes important. Some sort of crisis or sudden awareness of a lack provides us with a golden opportunity to explore our emotional needs.’
SO my friends – how was your weekend, under that big innocent full moon?

⭐SOMETHING BRAND NEW!⭐
YOUR VERY OWN ‘MOON PHASE’ MONTHLY READING

I was fascinated by that little snippet above about ‘Moon Energy’ so I’ve created a fabulous brand-new 12 question reading aligned
to the four phases of the Luna calendar.
You can have a personal video reading especially for you, created by me and emailed to you at the start of every month.
It’s yours to download and refer back to as often as you like.
For just £25 a month.
That’s less than half the cost of a normal 30-minute reading.
This is actually four mini-readings in one, as each week has its own set of questions aligned with the phase of the moon for that week.
New Moon – week 1
New moon energy is like a flower bud, full of potential but not yet opened.
What is new energetically that I can work with this month?
How can I positively assist that process?
What might block its growth?
Waxing Moon – week 2
The waxing moon is the flower opening, energy that is building in power ready to burst in action.
What should I align my goals to this month?
What problem needs my attention?
How best can I solve it?
Full Moon – week 3
The Full Moon is fruit, the maximum potential of that power.
What energy is dominating this week?
How can I align my myself positively to this power?
What might be challenging that I need to embrace?
Waning Moon – Week 4
The Waning Moon is a letting go, like fruit falling to the ground. A release that allows the next new phase to build.
What can be learned from this month and utilised in the next phase?
How can I best support myself positively this week?
What needs to be released from the energy of the past month?

Want to book a reading with me?
I offer 30 minute or 60 minute readings by Zoom (or Whatsapp Video on request).
